The White Adobe House: Far from the paved road, nestled in the embrace of the forest, stands this reborn cottage. The main house and former stable were given a new life in 2021 as a modern, pared-back guesthouse, with every rustic detail preserved. The spacious living room welcomes you with a pull-out sofa, a reading nook, and a well-equipped kitchen. The bedroom features a large double bed and a cradle – with the youngest guests in mind. The former stable is now a self-contained apartment with its own bathroom, while a covered terrace and garden gazebo between the two buildings provide the perfect space for grilling. In the large garden, plum trees, sun loungers, and an old well with clean drinking water complete the rural idyll.
The Story: Ferenc's House is a dream for the most committed escapists. The road leading here is unpaved: a 5-minute bumpy ride across the fields, and in heavy rain we leave the car at the bottom of the hill and help carry luggage up to the house in style – by tractor. This small adventure is the price of the unparalleled silence you won't find anywhere else. Here, we don't celebrate urban comfort – we celebrate honest, raw closeness to nature.
